Anyone can learn to ski moguls! Ski Cooper’s Bump Skiing Institute™ is unique in that absolutely no prior mogul skiing experience is necessary. “BSI” offers a progression in its mogul skiing education which begins on slopes with less pitch, places where moguls are not typically found. This allows neophyte mogul skiers to learn the basics and proper technique on slopes corresponding to their ability level, instead of terrifying them with steep expert runs on which lie bumps the size of Volkswagen Beetles (not a learning conducive environment), where nothing can be taught if the skiers are not already good enough.

Our “BSI” coaches are highly qualified, and include the founder and director emeritus of MogulSkiing.net, the leading online resource and community for mogul skiers; our other coach is an expert mogul skier and certified USSA Freestyle Mogul Coach with expertise in Kinesiology and biomechanical analysis.

Who: Any skiers comfortable with making parallel turns on groomed intermediate advanced terrain are welcome to join our clinics!

What: Full-day clinics to give you the tools you need to conquer the moguls!

When: Dates & Times TBD

>>Online Booking will be available soon!<<

We also offer private mogul lessons from the Bump Skiing Institute coaches (if no clinic is scheduled). Reservations (at least 24hrs in advance) ARE REQUIRED, and depend on availability of the coach (who has additional managerial responsibilities)! Please call 719-293-8150 to reserve.

What to Do When You Arrive
Go to the ticket window at the base lodge to pay for your clinic or lesson. Then find the “Mogul Clinics” sign in the base area to meet with your coaches. Note: YOU MUST MEET YOUR COACHES AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE CLINIC START TIME!!! Clinics will load the lift at start time, and will not wait. To be safe, plan to arrive at Cooper an hour before the clinic starts. That will give you plenty of time to prep before meeting your coaches.
